Case Information: Defendant crossed the center line while passing a vehicle and struck Plaintiff in left rear causing Plaintiff's vehicle to flip.  Plaintiff received a puncture wound to the right wrist, was showered with glass, and had glass fragments embedded in his left elbow which eventually became infected, and in his right wrist.  Plastic surgery was performed to fix residual scars on the wrist and arm.  Plaintiff has $11,888.44 in medical bills and $2,950 in wages and other non-medical expenses.  Case settled for $50,000.  Prior to obtaining and attorney, Plaintiff had been offered $4,000 as full settlement of his claim.
